After Susie was taken to the police station for interrogation, it was Esther's turn to be arrested. The Police showed Esther's arrest warrant to the hospital and let them handcuff her.

When Esther was treated in hospital, no one came to visit her. Esther almost lost her life if Angela and Dawn didn't immediately take her to the hospital. It's been three days since she was treated, and she is still unconscious. The wound on her stomach meant that she had to receive dozens of stitches and undergo surgery.

"Look at what is happening to you right now, you are lying unconscious and vacillating between life and death."

Martin stood next to Esther's bed and talked to her.

"But from what I heard, your operation went smoothly and there was no significant infection in your wound."

"Why didn't God just kill you, Esther?"

"Even though you tried to kill yourself, you didn't die?"
