Camille’s POV

“Okay!” Asher let out a sigh and raised my jaw with his index finger so my eyes could meet his.

“Try not to panic, it is just a simple test and you might see some pretty weird things in there but they are normal for witches.” He held my hand and kissed it.

“Now you are making me panic.” I let out a nervous chuckle.

“I’m surprised you handled the whole supernatural thing well ever since you found out about it. Any other person would have freaked out.” He swallowed and his Adam’s apple bobbed.

“It is because I have you right beside me every step of the way.” I shrugged my shoulder at him and bit my lower lip.

“I promise never to leave your side and we will deal with this like a team.” His brown eyes dilated and in them, I saw all the reassurances I needed so I nodded my head at him and offered a half-smile.
