Camille’s POV

“You did question everybody here, why should we be secluded?” Asher raised his voice and from the way his fists shook, I could tell he was slowly losing it.

“Because everybody here seems to point accusing fingers at Camille and you, sir.” He cleared his dry and patchy throat. He had a decent sizable beard around his chin and right above his mouth.

“So by succumbing to their claims, you want us to go with you to the station?” I butted in, inhaling and exhaling, as I tried to release the pressure I felt.

“We need to know if you have an alibi when the murder happened sometime around past twelve early this morning.”

“And so what?” Asher furrowed his brows, his hands dangled at his side.

“We need to know where you were and what you were doing by that time.” The cop said with a tone of finality.
