Chapter 109. Make Amends

Nyla’s POV

My middle finger move and it moved again for the second time. I try to lift it up but it felt like a brick was placed on it, so painful that I cancelled not to.

I sniffed in the air, it was filled with apple pie and every details of sound I could recognize. The clashing of things from a distance yet I heard nothing other than clattering.

I try to open my eyes but it felt heavy to even try at all. It was so painful that I decided not to. What is going on? I asked myself those questions over and over again.
