It was approaching noon when we got back to Crescent Moon. Owen was waiting for us at the edge of the forest.

He looked worried and paced about until he saw us.

“Alpha, Luna.” His gaze flicked between Kaelan and I. “We have a problem.”

Kaelan frowned. “Why is it that these days you bring nothing but bad news?”

Owen hesitated. “Alpha, it’s not my fault. It’s just that these days a lot has been going on and it seems everyone has gone mad.”

Kaelan’s frown deepened. “What are you talking about?”

“It’s Rose, Alpha.”

I stiffened.

Kaelan’s eyes darkened. “What about her?”

Owen exhaled. “She’s joined Zeus.”

We didn’t speak for a while.
