I couldn’t stop myself as I rushed to him again, ignoring the priestess’s warning glare. “Kaelan, I’m here, honey.”

His eyes were tightly shut. “Please help me. Make this pain stop. I can’t stand it anymore” he ground out.

Tears flowed down my eyes. “I wish I can.”
