Ollie POV

“Kid, wait—”

I ran toward the entrance before the man could stop me. The big glass doors opened automatically, and suddenly I was inside the fancy lobby. Everything was shiny and clean, with lots of important-looking people walking around in business clothes.

Two security guards were standing near the entrance. One of them—a big man with kind eyes—noticed me right away. His face changed from serious to surprised.

“Ollie?” he said, walking over quickly. “What are you doing here? Where’s your father?”

I recognized him—his name was Marcus, and he always smiled at me when Papa brought me here. “I need to see Papa! It’s really important! Is he in his office?”

Marcus exchanged a glance with the other guard. “Ollie, does your papa know you’re here?”

“No, but I need to see him right now! Please, Marcus! It’s an emergency!”
