Marcel POV

My goodness, she was gorgeous! I watched her flip the pages of her book while she ate a strawberry with the other one. She was glued to her book she didn’t notice me drooling over her. Her nightgown was made to bring down powerful men. The white lace dress had a long slit that showed her entire thigh.

Not even a cold-blooded creature could deny her majesty. Just staring at her made my blood hotter. My wolf was on the edge of my skin, begging me to make her ours tonight.

“Are you going to stare at me all night, Marcel?”

“I want to do a lot more than stare at you. Isn’t it obvious?”

“Looks like you want to eat me,” she said and closed her book.

I inched closer and smirked. “Sounds good.” I took her arms and willed her to come closer. “Go on a date with me.”

Her eyes widened a bit. “You’re asking me out?”

“Yeah, we’ve never gone on a date before.”

“That’s because we’re not allowed to date.”
