Chapter 26. Praya

I wasn’t too gloomy the next day, but my mind was still clouded with concerns and constant worrying. Wilona had suggested I scrap training today to get some rest, but I declined. She was surprised at my determination to work.

I even surprised myself.

I hadn’t seen Devyn since the meeting and I could he hadn't been in the house too because I would’ve felt his presence—as crazy as that sounded. I figured it was because he had marked me that I was able to feel this way. I didn't like it though, but It’s not like I could make the feeling go away.

Liam was glad to see me in training today. He had been worried about me but I assured him I was doing fine. He apologized too for the kidnap, but I assured him that it wasn't his fault. He had tried to stick by my side through out the meeting that day but I didn't let him.

I was only taken away because of my carelessness.
