Chapter 122. My Name Is Ryder

Ryder’s POV.

I knocked softly and then turned the door knob. The girl was still in her bath robe lying on the bed. I could tell from the plates on the table that she had just finished eating. The gown I held in my hands felt a bit heavy now that I was in the room with her.

I really didn’t want her to think that I cared…….too much.

I didn’t want her to think that I was bothered about her when in reality I didn’t.

Or I thought I didn’t.

As soon as I opened the door and walked into the room she got up at once.

“Here.” I tossed the dress at her and she caught it. “Change into that and come downstairs in the next few minutes so we can go get you extra clothes. Don’t waste my time please.”

“Yes sir. Thank you sir.”

I started to walk away when something struck me and I turned around again. “Don’t refer to me as sir while you’re here. If you so so people will find it hard to believe we are a couple so please call me by my name.”

Pause.
