Chapter 151. The Letter

I woke up the next day to breakfast on my bed. It also had an apology letter attached to it. It said he was sorry for the way he behaved last night and he hoped he was forgiven.

Last night after I had finally relaxed, I felt Ryder cuddle me and hold me in his arms and it didn’t feel forced like it had much earlier. I had relaxed in his embrace and he pulled me closer. I felt safe, I felt good, I felt loved even. The heat from our bodies made me relax even more and I didn’t want him to leave me suddenly. I wanted to remain in his arms all through. I had slept peacefully and happily for the first time in a while.

I hadn’t imagined he could have that kind of effect on me but I loved it. I wanted it.

I smiled when I read the letter and looked at the tray of food. This was so thoughtful and so nice of him.

I got up from the bed and went to have my shower. When I had changed into something I went to eat my food.
