Chapter 150. The Attack

He eventually left, after threatening me and telling that he would be back for me and that he would kill me if I said a word to Ox about it. I thanked the stars that I had ran into the cage just in time. He had used his hands to scratch me badly and try to force me to open it. The cage was auto locked so once I was in and I had jammed it shut he couldn’t get in.

After every futile attempt he eventually decided to leave after threatening me. It was nighttime already and Ox was going to be back soon. I was terribly scared. What was I going to tell Ox? How was I going to hide all the injuries I had sustained and make him believe I had intentionally come into the cage of my own will.

If I didn’t conceal the truth Brown was going to come back for me.
