Chapter 167. Peggy’s Family

Peggy’s POV.

Present Day.

It was raining heavily. The guards from the mansion had driven me back home and then I ran the rest of the way to my house. My husband and children were waiting eagerly for me.

They were home when the guards had come to take me to the mansion and because it was so abrupt I hadn’t had time to explain to my husband exactly what had happened.

One minute they were at my home asking me what I knew about vampires and the next minute they asked me to come with them.
