Chapter 8. Felix
I was really leaving my home.
I kept mute and looked on as some maids had the boxes moved out of the room and then it seemed like there was nothing more in my room. By this time I was already dressed and ready to go. My hair was creamed and put in a knot at the back of my head. After some time my nanny took my hand and we walked out of the room and down the stairs. On the way out of the house I saw my uncle seated on the settee at the center of the main living room. He was seated on my father’s favorite chair.
