Chapter 90
When her gaze fell upon Henry’s figure at the bottom of the stairs, Gracie couldn’t help but feel her heart leap.
Callum squeezed her hand.
“Are you okay?” he asked.
The heightened hearing of werewolves was something very inconvenient, she thought.
“Yes.”
As they descended the stairs, Henry did not disguise his gaze, looking into her eyes with intensity. When they reached the bottom of the last step, they stopped in front of the trio.
“My lady, Taylor, Turner,” Callum greeted, and the trio greeted them back. After that, Callum fixed his gaze on Henry.
“Are you going to join us for breakfast?”
“Yes. Sounds like a great idea,” Henry replied.
“Turner, can you escort Gracie to the dining hall for breakfast? I would like to speak privately with Mr. Taylor.”
James nodded and accompanied the two females to breakfast. He didn’t look back; he didn’t want to get involved in love disputes; the gods knew he already had too many problem
