ALPHA'S POV

I sensed the tension and the confusion as we drove in silence for what seemed like hours. I checked the time and saw that we'd only been driving for six minutes. It was Gerry who broke the silence.

"Gabz, are you OK?" He asked as he spun his head around to get a better look at her. She was still huddled to Carson.

I'd never seen Carson behave so animalistic, other than when he was on the battlefield.

I just hoped that dick-head didn't die. That was one problem I wouldn't be able to fix. We couldn't allow ourselves to get mixed up in human affairs, we'd risk exposure.

Carson growled at Gerry!
