Mist's POV

“You know something, dog?” I asked, grinning as I stuck the knife in more. “Those potions took us months of preparation, and you guys threw away all our effort like it was nothing. Do you appreciate other people’s work that much? Because I would never destroy anything built by a human or anything made by another being, and you guys come and get rid of everything besides getting us into your beds like whores?”

I felt the fury burn my skin more than ever. I was capable of slitting his throat, but I restrained myself for reason from speaking again. “Should I cut your throat and leave here with my sister? Because believe me, the temptation is too great.”

I could no longer finish that sentence as a hand bigger than mine forced the knife from the bastard’s neck.
