Stephen's POV

“Let go of me,” I demanded as Mist stopped whimpering and her body fell to the ground with a sordid thud, her sister glanced at us before her eyes went opaque again reciting the chant again. This time a black smoke surrounded the place where both of them were, forming a strange layer that did not let me see exactly what was going on.

I roared, feeling how my beast began to get impatient, seeing that I was powerless before that scene. Will let go of me, falling to his knees as the strange atmosphere charged with black magic dissipated, as well as the smoke, leaving us to see two bodies lying on the ground with white symbols glowing on their skin. My brother approached his witch, took her in his arms, and walked out of my house, leaving me alone and dazed.
