Chapter 31
I washed my hands, biting my lip so as not to make the slightest noise. I also washed the piece of mirror and wrapped it in a cloth before putting it in my right boot when I changed. I combed my hair a bit before leaving, finding the orangutan asleep on the bed. I rolled my eyes before quietly leaving the room. I looked for my sister’s room and passed by, seeing she wasn’t there. I smiled wider as I walked over to the bag with potions she always carried. I searched through the small bottles of different colors, finding a black one on which was written “lamia venenum.” I took it confidently, walking back out of the room and meeting the other orangutan.
“Where are you going?” he stood in front of me, observing my body as if it were something of the simplest and smallest. I laughed as I moved my hand, slamming his body against a wall. I made my hand into a fist, watching him squirm for air. I kept it up until the poor guy passed out.
