He was the only person of the opposite sex I believed in, the one I could give what was left of my heart to, the only vampire who never wanted to see me suffer. I watched him die before my eyes as his lips spoke my name over and over again so that I would not let him fall where he came from. He did not deserve to die for saving me from that demon.
