Chapter 14. Starting Over
POV Megan
It’s time for me to tell Adam to cover the windows. The sun streamed in through the windows of the room, illuminating everything in its path and waking me from my slumber.
Groaning more than sighing, I got out of bed and stumbled to the bathroom, did my business, brushed my teeth, and took a cold shower to finish waking up. I headed towards the closet, picked out some faded jeans and a sleeveless shirt, which I assume was Adam’s, and completely ignored the strange feeling I felt seeing my clothes next to his. It’s like he’s always been there.
Which is strange.
I looked at the messy bed and thought about tidying it up, but a wave of laziness swept through me and I decided to leave it as it was. Anyway, in a little while, I’ll go back to sleep.
