Adam's POV

I wake up with a quality feeling in my chest; then I see Megan in my arms.

“Our mate is beautiful, Adam,” said Jeison’s voice in my head.

“Yes, it is,” I agreed.

As best I can, I get up without waking her, tuck her in with the sheets that were lying on the floor, since she must have taken them off while we were sleeping, and I smile when she complains in her sleep about not feeling me next to her and hugs with her arms and legs the pillow that was on my side of the bed and pushes the sheet down to her pretty feet.
