Luck drummed his fingers on his desk in his office; at the top of the Manhattan Wolf was his room, which was a sort of apartment that comprised the entire width of the building in question; his apartment was above the hotel’s indoor swimming pool, one of the things that attracted the most attention from guests.
He had never looked forward to the beginning of the week as much as he had that Monday, the weekend had taken forever after learning that his soul mate was working for him. Right now he didn’t know how he had dared to let her go two days ago, he hadn’t been sure if she would come back and yet she had.
It had been complete madness, but at that moment, he was about to put an end to his great concern.
