Chapter 18
“Pfff” Emma sighed as she put her notes aside and watched the last rays of sunlight slowly disappear through the huge glass windows, her fingers tapped on the wood of the counter, she was anxious, or rather, nervous.
She looked at the time on the clock on the wall behind her; it was seven o’clock at night, and her day was over; despite being a job that consumed several hours of the day, it was no big deal what she had to do, the pay was too good to refuse, and it was worth the time. Besides, she could always take a day off apart from weekends.
