She opened her mouth to say something, maybe scold me or say the evil I would die from, but for some reason, the bell rang, signaling it was time to leave the halls. And I had been saved by the bell.

Halfway to the exit door, the director’s voice was heard over the loudspeakers.

“Dear students, due to a meeting I need the following students to stay inside the institution,” he said and started naming some of the names, I cursed when mine was heard over the speakers “The rest of you can leave and I warn you that from today you have a vacation see you next school year.”

Grumbling, I headed for the room where they held meetings with the rest of us wretches, each with a look of death etched on our faces.
