He was a complete idiot.

As he nodded his head, he remembered the wound on his shoulder, and with his fingertips, he brushed the small scar.

Bad idea

A groan ripped from his throat before he could stop it, and a shudder ran through him, causing the papers to fall to the floor.

His head fell to one side, and he felt his breathing shallow.

He didn’t know what Reth Kenett had done to him and he didn’t feel ready to know the truth yet, judging by the hair on the back of his neck standing on end.

A tear unexpectedly slipped down her cheek at the thought of the beautiful shapeshifter naked and asleep in his bed.

He felt like shit right now.
