I didn’t remember falling asleep or letting go of Max’s arms around my neck, yet my eyelids were closed, and my body was heavy. I felt so tired that I couldn’t move even if I heard murmuring all around me, feeling small shocks of heat on my skin.

“Humm...” I stammered as I tried to open my eyelids. I felt a soft caress on them, causing me to slowly open them and find several shadows around me. I blinked several times and rubbed my eyes until I could focus on the images of three men: the doctor, Alex, and Max. The last one was lying in front of me so I deduced that he must be in my bed, it was the safest thing to do.
