James wouldn’t get off that easy; this time, he wouldn’t be worth a bouquet of roses and a touching apology from him; he had crossed the line. He had scared the hell out of me.
Although maybe I’m being too rude to him, he’s like a little kid when he likes something. He wants it all to himself plus his attitude is sometimes like that. Adding the detail that he keeps more and more pressure on his shoulders and must behave at any time of the day if his father or subordinates are near him.
“Hey.” I felt a hand wrap around my arm, preventing me from moving any further. I turned around in annoyance, watching him.” Sorry, I scared you, snowflake.” He smiled awkwardly as he fiddled with the fabric of my scarf; I rolled my eyes, smiling back at him. Why couldn’t I stay mad at him?
“Forget it, James, this one doesn’t come so easy for you.” I could barely make it to the end of the sentence as his lips
