Giloed’s POV
Spyril had sent word to me again. He couldn’t come to the Shadow pack anymore because it was risky. Thor had set up security officials on every border of every pack he had an alliance with, including his own. It was hard to move around now. That bastard.
No matter how many barriers of protection he put around, I’d still get what I wanted. No matter how long it took.
I had finished having my lunch when the letter arrived. Zamar was training outside the fort when it came in.
In the letter, he said he was making plans to get Dana out of the castle and to the pack. It would take a while since it was hard to break through her personal security and so on. Her mother was around as well. So it wasn’t going to be easy, but he would do it.
Of course, he’ll have to. I had paid him for the job already, and handsomely too. And he knew better than to dare not to fulfill his part of the bargain.
