Chapter 7

Kane’s POV

We finally arrived at the palace. All the while, I had the almost lifeless girl, and I was scared that she might give up the ghost. Her wounds weren’t healing at all, which meant her wolf was not functioning currently, but it had to still be there. What was she doing in the woods alone? She looked young, very young.

I hadn’t encountered any female rogues before. My father, the past Beta, and the woman were killed on the spot. Blue Moon didn’t take kindly to rogues, no matter the gender. Because of what had happened when the past Alpha, Thor’s father, was killed, we didn’t show any mercy or welcome any outsiders again. If they as much lingered on our borders, we took them down immediately, not caring what their mission in the pack was or who they were.

That was why I was taken aback when Thor asked us to bring her to the palace. I looked at her face again as I gently eased her out of the car and carried her inside. 

A few of the Omegas in the palace
