Chapter 12

Alpha Thor’s POV

I was back in the limo, and Kane decided to ride with me this time. The decapitated body of the rogue was taken to a bushy area where it was burned alongside his head. We didn’t burn such people. 

After I had watched his sizzling flesh for a while, I got exhausted and walked back to the car, leaving my guards to finish up. My chauffeur followed me closely, along with Kane. 

While in the car, I realized I wasn’t ready to go back to the castle. If Mom was anywhere around when I got back, she would notice something was wrong with me. She would notice I had been thinking about him again. So, I decided to drive around town for a while. 

The chauffeur started the car. I could feel Kane’s eyes on me as we rode through town. I knew he had so many questions. No one understood me better than himself or my mother. I would answer his questions; I was ready to.
