“Where are you taking me?” I asked, a little confused and worried after Caden ordered me to get ready and pack a few clothes.

The weather was still gray. The clouds were heavy and threatening to pour heavy rains. I watched Caden’s face scowl in frustration while looking up at the sky. It seemed he was expecting something from the weather, which made it a little intriguing.

I frowned. I wanted to ask what he was up to, but I also wanted to be surprised, so I just kept my mouth shut and secretly glanced at him while suppressing a smile. I didn’t know why I was in such a good mood, but I was happy he gave me so much time and attention when I didn’t ask him to, which was strange. I never felt so significant in his life before.
