Chapter 16. Love and Anger

“C-Caden?!”

Caden approached me and pulled me by my other wrist. My eyes widened as two men gripped me tightly. One who I loved with my whole life but never cared for me, and the other, whom I just met, but was too concerned that he didn't let go of my hand.

My mind was blown when I heard Caden say the word ‘wife’. I thought I just misheard it, though I could tell it was his pride as an Alpha and a man that made him say those words. I had never seen him angry like this before. That made me scared that he might do something that might attract people’s attention.
