Another day was spent in this cage, and no Caden came.

Tears rolled down my face. Had he already forgotten us? Where is he?

Then I thought maybe he was on his way to this place. Of course, Caden had to be careful about what danger awaited him here. I had no idea how powerful this pack was—this underground group of werewolves that abducted Catherine and me.

But if they dared to challenge the most powerful Alpha of the region, that only meant they were planning something against Caden. Everything was a trap designed to bring down my mate, and I could not simply wait and watch them destroy Caden.

“Get up! The Alpha wants to talk to you!”
