“So you came back to take everything from me, just like what your father did to my mom,” I uttered flatly to my unwelcome visitor.

I swallowed a huge gulp of vodka and exhaled heavily, trying not to explode in front of him. or maybe lunge myself towards him and rip his throat open. But that would be a dumb move because I knew Caden Einsworth would easily overpower me. He wasn’t the same werewolf as before. He grew stronger. More formidable. And maybe that was because of the news I heard about him taking over the Greyfur Pack after Simon Sidney died and the older daughter, Greta Sidney, abandoned her father’s legacy.

“Is that why you came back? Because you need a legitimate right to possess the Sidney fortunes, and the only way to do that is to marry one of the Greyfur Alpha’s daughters?”
