Chapter 106

Nate's POV

"Take her, get her to the healers now," I said to one of the men who appeared behind me, immediately rushing towards the fleeing assassins as I heard the footsteps of the men fall behind me. I heard Nicholas appear behind me.

"Who would dare come in here to harm the Luna?"

"Whoever it is, I am going to find them and make them suffer."

"Over here, Alpha," I heard Andrew call from the front and rushed in that direction, only to see the assassin pushing him away from him and running again. Then we saw another one of the assassins in the dark; I confronted the one that just fought off Andrew while Nicholas went after the other one.

There was no way I would be able to catch him if I didn't shift, so I swiftly shifted as I ran, and the assassin kicked back for a while as I leaped toward him. I grazed him a little on the heel, but he didn't stop running.

I ran faster, taking the longest leap I could. I gripped him with my teet
