Chapter 9
Amareux was bored. His tutor, Ferdinand was already tired of getting the heir apparent to train.
Amareux on the other hand already knew most of the moves and tactics and would always tell Ferdinand that there was nothing else to learn.
"Amareux, you know your father wants you to keep training till it's time for you to take over, right?" Ferdinand spoke, hands akimbo.
Amareux stood up from the wooden stump he sat on, lifting his legs over a pile of scattered spears that had been dismantled from their holds while they had been training.
Amareux planted his booted feet on the ground. His hair was messed up and there was a bead of sweat running down his cheek. He wasn't sweating because of the series of practices he had taken that morning. He was sweating because the storeroom Ferdinand had taken him to today for training was stuffed with weapons and old stuff. And it was making him sweat.
