I could feel their uncertainty, but I did not hesitate. I knew this was my only chance to prove what I was capable of.
“I am going to study the moon,” I continued, “and use what I learn to come up with an answer.” I admitted, “It might sound a little exaggerated, but it is definitely worth a try.”
The arrogant werewolf looked at me, his expression shifting to one of cruel thought. “In fact, our curse has been bothering us for a long time,” he declared, sounding increasingly oblivious to the fact that I was the mate of his alpha. “If you really have the power to help us, then we are obliged to accept it.”
I heard the alpha’s quiet chuckle beside me, but I did not dare to meet his gaze. I did not know if there were factions within the pack, but that werewolf definitely had some respect for Randall. Falling into his graces seemed to mean something.
