Outside the tent, I noticed that the whole camp already appeared to be packed up, and even Randall had left with part of the pack to ensure our rear, while Marcus was waiting for me with a few more males.
“I thought I heard her snoring, and I wondered how long it would take Kelly to wake her up,” Marcus said with a laugh. I gave him the middle finger. “Let’s go. Hopefully, we’ll reach the city by dusk. No stops today. We don’t want to make this trip longer than it should be.”
I passed by him grumbling, joining Kelly and her friends to explore nature.
