Chapter 44. The Morning After

My eyes flew open, and I shot upwards in bed. The first thing I noticed was that I was naked, but the covers, which were up to my neck, slid down slowly and pooled around my waist, leaving me exposed. I grab the sheets quickly and wrap them around my chest.
