“Hello, this is Hotel Security,” a respectful male voice answered from the other end.

“Hi, I’m a guest in Room 3601.”

The moment he heard 3601, the security operator’s eyes widened. His back straightened almost instinctively, and his fingers paused above the keyboard. That room number alone was enough to put him on high alert.

His tone immediately turned cautious and deferential. “Miss, how may I assist you?”

“There’s a crazy person banging on my door,” Serena said calmly. “She’s seriously disturbing my rest. I’d like to request that security send someone over to handle the situation.”

“Understood,” the operator replied without hesitation. “I’ll dispatch someone immediately. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.”

“It’s fine,” Serena said lightly. “Just get someone to drag her away quickly.”

“Rest assured, Miss!”

The moment the call ended, the operator sprang to his feet and bolted out of the room.
