Chapter 100. Echoes of Tragedy

However, he didn’t expect Taya to bug him at the Sterling pack house. Her words shook him. So his brother had no choice but to send someone to bribe the people in the orphanage and destroy all their photos. That’s why, when Jackson investigated, he hadn’t found anything.

Jackson believed his brother’s words and thought Taya was a scheming liar. He ordered the pack guards to drive her away, off of Sterling pack land.

Later, Taya insisted on looking for Jackson, but she thoroughly angered his brother. In anger, Jackson’s brother pretended to be Jackson and tried to kill Taya.

Then, Taya had never come to find Jackson again. Jackson had been sent abroad for Alpha training by his elder brother.

Jackson was gone for three years, receiving all of the training necessary to learn pack politics and laws, both domestically and internationally. Then he received word that he had to come home and take over as Alpha because his brother had died.
