Dalia’s POV
“I’m moving back to Texas.”
“What?” Chelsea stopped in her tracks and looked at me like I had grown another head. “No, you’re not. You’re can’t change environment every time something doesn’t sit well with you,” she said and I felt like I had been slapped across the face.
She’s my friend, she’s supposed to understand me, she’s supposed to support me and try to see things from my point of view.
“You think I’m running away again? That’s what it seems like to you?” I asked her with hurt in my voice and she shrugged.
“Are you not? Because from where I’m standing, you are avoiding your issues and giving up,” she said and I let out a small gasp of hurt.
“I’m not running away, Chelsea. I’m hurt you even think like that at all,” I snapped at her. “Then why the fuck are you running back to Texas? You’re obviously avoiding your problems,” she shouted at me.
