Chapter 49. Let Him Go

Jacob called Amy, but she ignored it. After three times, he finally sent a text message. ‘Amy, I need your help badly. Can we talk? I promise I won’t take your time for a long time.’

Amy read the message, but she was torn between whether to reply or ignore it too. After thinking for a while, she decided to not reply to the message. However, Jacob sent another text message. 

‘My family is in big trouble. It’s about life and death situations. Can you lend me money?’

She finally called him. “What happened?”
