Chapter 16
Keila's POV
Kean drove me again on his motorcycle. While the stoplight stopped, I couldn't help but ask him. "Why did you think of joining our practice?"
"I just want to watch over you," he answered.
"To Dwayne? Dwayne won't hurt me." He laughed suddenly.
"He did it; he hurt your heart." Before I could say anything, he spoke again. "Hold on, let's go."
I can't complain anymore. I just held on to him. Maybe Kean is just too protective.
When we got to the front of the house and before I went inside, he gave me a piece of paper. "What is this for?" I will ask.
"I did that for you."
"For me? What's in it?" I asked again. "Is this what you're going to give me?" He didn't answer me, but he nodded.
"Read it," he answered. I opened the paper he gave me. "When you've done all that, you can say you've really moved on."
Signs that you've already moved on: 1. When you accept that there really is nothing and that you will never be.
