Dwayne's POV

"Tell me, are you with him now?" I asked him while I was talking to him on the phone. "Answer me, Trevor." I closed my hand in annoyance. Why can't he just freaking tell me if he's with her?

"Yeah, I'm with her."

"Where are you?" I screamed. "I need to talk to her!" I can't control myself anymore.

"How about Jenelle's birthday? She's waiting for you. C'mon, Dwayne. Are you going to prioritize her over your sister?"

"One year. I waited one year to talk to him again. Trevor, why are you denying me this? You know how hurt I am, right?" I closed my eyes and let the tears fall from my eyes. All the freaking pain she left me was still here. "Please. I'm begging you."
