Chapter 21

Dwayne's POV

I don't know where I'm going anymore. I don't know what I should do. I just held tightly to the steering wheel of my car. I don't care if I crash. All I know is that I'm hurting right now.

I thought of going to Padis. I need to drink to somehow get rid of the pain I'm feeling right now. I need to forget what happened earlier because every time I remember it, I just feel hurt.

I went inside and went to the counter to order a bucket of beer. I still have to go to Jenelle's birthday, so I shouldn't get too drunk. I don't want to disappoint my baby sister.

"A bucket of San Mig." I gave him a thousand.

"Sir, do you have one hundred?" asked the woman at the counter.

"I gave you the whole thing, didn't I? It's whole, but why is it still missing?" I said, annoyed. "Where did I go wrong? I gave everything to you."
