Chapter 24

Keila's POV

He smiled again, as if he didn't know.

The bell has rung. End of class. I will go to the gym for our practice, and Kean will go to the studio to practice as well.

"I'll wait for you later," he said seriously. "I want you to see me and my band, and I will sing for you. That's why you need to be there."

"What will you do if I don't come?" I'm teasing.

"I'm going to sulk," he said. "Please come. I need you there."

"I'll be there," I said.

"Good. Eat my pocket, huh?"

Before he could leave, he pulled me closer to him and kissed me on the forehead. I looked at him, and he looked straight into my eyes. Slowly, he said these words to me using his deep and husky voice.

"I love you..."

He smiled at me, touched his lips, and then put his hand on mine. He then indirectly kissed me. He slowly turned his back on me. I couldn't move, so I didn't do anything other than look at his back as he slowly walked away from me.
