Chapter 82. The Torture of Grudges

Antonio struggled to carry the big basket of carrots, grunting as he carried it out of the farm while the farmers laughed and chatted as they kept working. He was almost out of the farm when he was startled by the sudden shout from the annoying and familiar voice.

“Hey!”, Anthony yelled startling everyone and drawing attention to himself,”what are you doing?”, he directed at Antonio, looking so pissed,

“What does it look like I’m doing?”Antonio replied, eyeing him.

He walked briskly to him and took the basket from him, dropping it roughly on the floor.

“Hey, you better don’t ruin the basket and my carrots”, the woman who owns it yelled,

“Didn’t I tell you to stop coming here? You said you love to study and Mrs Zaira said she’s going to enroll you, ain’t you meant to be studying?”, he yelled at him,

“Am I going to read on an empty stomach?”, Tonio yelled back at him,
