We all made our way to the dining room. I could see that Tiff was kind of hiding from Samuel. So I grabbed her and told the others to go on ahead without us.

“Are you ok?” I asked.

“It’s just a little awkward,” Tiff replied. “Samuel makes my heart race when I see him, but I still need time.”

“I understand,” I said.

Nathan came out of the dining room and headed towards us.

“Is everything ok?” he questioned.

“Tiff is just feeling a little awkward with Samuel,” I stated.

“Ah, I see,” Nathan responded. “I thought that might be the reason. I made sure he’s not sitting across from Tiff.”
